◆ days ago I stumbled with a bunch of wonderful photos by Amy Toensing in a National Geographic magazine. couldn't resist to draw something from them.

DETECTIVE for Illustration Friday

◆ the word 'detective' tends to be a cliché in our minds: we always think of a man with a hat and sunglasses, dressing a raincoat. but real detectives do not always follow such a generalization. here, for example, we have this lady, disguised as a Red Army officer, including a thick beard and an old Polaroid - a clever disguise to go completely unnoticed while taking pictures in a mall.

◆ el término 'detective' tiende a ser un lugar común en nuestra mente. siempre nos imaginamos un hombre con sombrero y lentes oscuros, vistiendo un impremeable. pero los detectives de verdad no siempre son así. aquí, por ejemplo, tenemos esta señora, disfrazada de oficial del Ejército Rojo, lo que incluye una frondosa barba y una vieja Polaroid - un disfraz diseñado para pasar totalmente desapercibida mientras toma fotos en un mall.
